Spanish Trip 2013

 Don't mind how many times we go to Spain always find something different to do. Since we discovered the Gold Train we have used the train a lot.

Monaco Long Weekend

Just back from my long weekend in Monaco with the Currans.  The new apartment is lovely and so convenient after the challenging locations of years gone by !!  Off the bus at the Tourist Office, cross the road, up an escalator and across the road to the apartment - up the stairs in the lift - bliss!!   The fair arrived on the Condamine on Friday so the we had to take Leo and Bobby down for a visit.   They enjoyed the House of Fun. A trip into Nice and Habitat on Saturday then off to the Old Town.  In the new gardens, which were celebrating their first birthday, we watched the acrobats floating on huge balloons before going to lunch in our favourite Safari.    Climbed up to the chateau in the afternoon where the boys had fun in the park. I recovered from the stairs. Sunday we had a trip to Menton and visited the botanical gardens of Val Rahmeh which has beautiful plants from all over the world. Well worth a visit. Monday, the boys and I had an adventure in Nice. Who knew you could spend so long in a toy shop. I have yet to hear Leo on the harpsichord but he played the violin and Bobby played his saxaphone and guitar.   Puts Gran to shame but I can sing....can't I?
